BOURNEMOUTH have made an enquiry for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle.

The Cherries are gearing up for life in the Premier League after lifting the Championship title and have the Eagles hotshot, 24, on their radar.

Palace are under no pressure to part with Gayle, who still has two years to run on his Selhurst Park contract.

But with Eagles boss Alan Pardew in the market to bolster his frontline, the former Peterborough Sharpshooter is likely to drop even further down the pecking order in SE25.

Gayle has not even made the bench for the last four Premier League matches.

The forward has Scored five goals in 25 Premier League appearances this season. But he has also bagged five in four cup games - which included a hat-trick in a League Cup win at Walsall in August.... read on
